The end It reminds me a little bit of the Oppenheimer's speech about the first nuclear detonation, as he said that most poeple were silent, maybe because they didn't knew what to think or say, and so i'm asking myself, what is this ussr soldier thinking about as he sees those missiles ?

I can assume that he thinks everything the same as an ordinary person in such a situation. That everything will be over very soon. There will be neither him nor his family, nothing. Or no longer (depends on whether it is a retaliatory strike or a preemptive one)
